Polyvore creations
I feel so bad for not being able to update this blog regularly :( It's just that, I don't have enough time since school has taken all the spare time I have. Projects, performance tasks, home works, quizzes and such...
Well on the brighter side, I decided to join Polyvore! yayy :) I've been hearing about this site ever since, yet I don't know why it took me a while to decide if I'm going to join this new fashion community or not. So I ended up joining anyway :p So I am going to share the first 5 sets I created from the said site.. You might think it's too simple or whatsoever but please don't hate! I'm a newbie! haha :)

So I ended up joining anyway :p So I am going to share the first 5 sets I created from the said site.. You might think it's too simple or whatsoever but please don't hate! I'm a newbie! haha :)
DEFY THE WEATHER
This was the very first look or as they call it, set, I created from Polyvore. I created this 3 days ago, August 7, when the rain was pouring hard here in the Philippines. It's really hard seeing people suffer from the heavy rains and floods, and I don't know how can I reach my hand to those affected by these calamities. As much as I want to help, it may not be possible for a teenager like me to do such. I do pray, but how about my actual help to those people? With this I created my first set. I called it "Defy the Weather" since we were experiencing heavy rains that day. I decided to create a look against the bad weather, thus creating such a look appropriate for summer. Well it may sound crazy, or it may not really help those in need, but I hope the thought of defying the weather through fashion counts :)
TEAL
I guess this is my simplest set yet--- Well if you will look closer, I only included 6 items for this look. Lazy, yes? But despite the simplicity of the look, it still looks elegant in its own way. I did use color blocking for this set. The teal colored button down matches perfectly to the bright colored pants. To complete the look, I searched for some nude heels and sunglasses, plus a brown hand bag. It seems like the texture of these pieces are all the same so that's why I added this iPhone, with a white studded case ( actually that's just a case) haha! :)
TANGERINE & STUDS
Orange is currently one of my favorite colors :) Well I guess this is Peeta Mellark's fault :p To be honest, I hated orange back then. I despise the color orange and to show this, I didn't own anything orange in my closet. I think it's some kind of a nostalgic color for grannies. haha! I don't know what came to me, suddenly I learned how to appreciate this color :) So I paired a printed cross top with this bright colored tangerine shorts. Maybe the print of my chosen top is too simple so I opted to wear this aztec print scarf but instead, this scarf shall be worn as some kind of a turban or hair dress. When I saw this preppy straw bag, I suddenly fell in love. It's perfect for the entire look since I'm aiming for a comfortable one. I also chose a pair of brown sandals to complete the so called "comfortable" look. Let's take a break from heels sometimes eh? To conclude, I added a studded cuff, a cross and a diamond shaped orange ring.
CRAZY CAT LADY
I didn't know how to name this look... so I just named it from the statement of my chosen tote bag "Crazy cat lady" haha! So firstly, my base piece is this brown sleeveless top. I paired it with this printed orange shorts. The sleeveless top and printed shorts seemed naked to me, so I added a light denim vest to complete the upper part of the look. For the accessory, I chose to wear a knit beret since it looks very unique and so that people can properly distinguish that this look aims to create an artsy fancy look since the identity of the one who's going to wear this is some kind of a photographer. (And same goes with the tote bag too) To finish off, I decided to match these combat boots to complete the artsy vibe :)
COLOR ME PRETTY
This is the most recent look I created. Well in fact this set is only 90 minutes old :) I'm not really into cropped corsets and such, but hey, what's wrong with experimenting? So I paired this floral corset with black high waist shorts. I decided to put a bright hue of yellow for an instant pop. If you look at the corset, there are shades of pink, white, green, beige and red. Take a break from hand bags, satchels and such, and try to wear simple yet elegant bags like clutches. So I chose to wear a red clutch in agreement to the shades included in the corset. I also matched these electric blue bootie wedges since my objective is to create a playful look with vibrant colors. In my past sets, I do not usually include beauty products and stuff like that (well except for nail polish) so I tried to put a red lipstick, and a Prada perfume for a change :)

Preview of my closet
Hi guys! hooray for this blog post! haha! it took me a long time to take some decent pictures. (Actually some of these aren't even decent) So this blog post is all about my closet. To be more specific, my clothes. Tank tops, blouses, cropped tops, dresses, skirts, shorts, pants, etc. But my other clothes aren't included here because there's no more space and blah blah. Plus the ones that are not shown are only tees so it's okay. I also took some pictures of my favorite pieces, and my favorite details about these clothes. Fringes, prints, different textures and many more. At the end, I also included the price tags I kept. It will give you an idea of my favorite stores. Those tags aren't complete because I lost some of them, and sometimes I also buy from bazaars and thrift stores, so some of my clothes don't have any tags. This is quite a long photo post but I still hope you'll find ideas and get inspiration from this. I will be posting more soon. Especially my accessories, bags, shoes, etc. So enjoy!

Top 10 favorite fashion bloggers
Hi guys! These past few days I've noticed that I'm getting more interested in Lookbook than before. My love for fashion was discovered when I made a Lookbook account last year. Before that, I'm already in to fashion but I'm not familiar with the famous fashion bloggers and icons internationally. These fashion bloggers influenced me greatly and made me appreciate fashion even more. After a year of getting to know them, I decided to make a list of my top 10 favorite fashion bloggers. So I hope you enjoy! Comments are highly appreciated :)
6. Chloe Ting (Australia)
Her face, is just stunningly pure and pretty! x She's 26 years old, but she looks like a sweet child! <3 The way she projects in her shots, oh my gosh, amazing! I just love her style, especially this one, because she was able to balance the prints and colors. She's an Aussie too! How could you not love her?!
5. Imogen De Souza (England)
This look of hers really caught my eye. Especially her shorts! Plus she's very young and pretty. At 16 years old, she knows how to catch peoples' attention by putting a focal point on most of her looks. I've also notice that she loves putting her hair in a bun pile, letting it all down, or in its ponytails. Lovely hair! xx
4. Laureen Uy (Philippines)
Who doesn't know Laureen Uy? Especially those who are living in the Philippines?! Not to mention, she's considered as the number 1 fashion blogger in the country at the age of 22. Amazing right? And not just that, besides her love for fashion, she's also in to acting. She starred once in "My Binondo Girl" which is a telenovela here in the Philippines. I met her last December 2011 at WAGW Robinsons Galleria. She is SUPER nice! I was also able to take my photo with her, Kryz Uy and Camille Co. As an artist, she never fails to give me that wow factor whenever I see her on the television wearing such wonderful clothes. She makes sure all her outfits make a statement. That's why I love her! :)
3. Kani Cao (Australia)
Behold the 20 year old ASOS FUTURE STYLIST! hooray for Kani :-) Another Aussie blogger made it to my list! This was the outfit she wore for the Grand Finals of the contest. And yes, she won. :) During the past few months, I watched as her style became more uniquely amazing! She can go for that sweet vintage look, to smart casual, beach buddy to Ms. random :)) Her style is insanely addicting! haha! And by the way, have you heard her talk? Oh, the Australian accent is like music to my ears! Plus, she's very nice to her blog readers. There's not a time I tweeted to her without a reply. She stays humble though she have reached a lot already at a young age (:
2. Mayo Wo (Hong Kong)
Are you having a hard time pairing your cute socks with your new pumps? Or are you struggling to buy a new bag to add to your wardrobe? Just check out Mayo Wo's blog, and I'm sure you'll think outside the box on how to do these things. She has the cutest and most unique bags. I swear! I'll never forget her elephant bag, car bag, Marilyn Monroe bag, plus this cute heart shaped purse. Ordinary bags are too mainstream for her. That's why she dared to be different. :) She's also into the socks and heels combo. The prints on her socks match perfectly to her heels! I just love her style way too much because of its sweetness. She's into pastel colors, lace, dresses, tulle skirts and anything cute!
1. Tricia Gosingtian (Philippines)
10. Ashleigh F. (England)
She's young, pretty and stylish. Though she's only 16 years old, she's always able to find a spot in the "hot" section of Lookbook. Another thing I like I about her is that she lives in England! I bet she has this very lovely accent too (of course) haha! Another trademark of hers is that she usually takes her outfit shots in this vintage looking background. One thing I also like about her is that she keeps it simple by not putting much accessories or not putting accessories at all.
9. Bestie Konisis (Philippines)
I didn't know Bestie before, 'til she was featured on Candy mag. I instantly adored her style! She's 26 years old, and proudly from the Philippines! I find her style very calm and sweet. Oh and don't forget her amazing hair color!
8. Anna-Lena Laue (Germany)
Almost all her looks are vintage, but you'll be surprised that she can go for aztec too! She's only 18, young but confident. I don't know why but I really find it amazing because the younger generation is ruling over Lookbook. All her outfit shots look mature yet sweet ;)
7. Aileen Belmonte (Philippines)
If I'm not mistaken, Aileen Belmonte is the second blogger who caught my eye when I joined Lookbook. She's 22 years old, and again from the Philippines. Besides fashion, she's also passionate about singing. Not to mention, she's a glee club member of ADMU. Plus she's a med student too! :) She's very approachable and nice. She actually knows me because I was suppose to interview her for my project, and I'm one of her loving followers :"> hihi. I just love how her style shifts from sweet, to edgy :) That's why I adore her!

1. Tricia Gosingtian (Philippines)
Filipina pride all the way!!! :) She's a professional fashion photographer, stylist and an inspiration to many young fashionistas, not only in the Philippines, but in the whole world! She's been featured in many magazines and been to many international projects regarding photography and fashion. She's 23 years old, and she graduated from Ateneo De Manila University. Tricia herself told everyone that she was greatly inspired by Japanese fashion. One thing she's also passionate about is coloring her hair. Sometimes it's black, brown, or blonde. But in this case her hair is blonde, but with the touch of pink at the end. Her style is to die for! She never fails to surprise everyone with every single look she creates. I've notice she has lots of clothes from Forever 21, Topshop, Just G etc. But sometimes she goes online shopping and finds even the most secretive shop ever, but with the most stylish pieces! A lot of people greatly adore her and I think she is the most well-known fashion icon who's not a celebrity. Err- but I think she is considered a celebrity, but not an actress or a tv personality. Maybe that's better. haha! Tricia Gosingtian, you rock! Continue to inspire us with your fancy and stylish way of dressing up. We hope you'll have more projects to come, and stay humble. We love you!

Looklet second set! :)
It's been more than 2 months since I last posted the looks I styled from Looklet. I'm sorry for not being able to update these looks every Sunday. :c I promise to post another one soon after this, but this time I can't allot a specific date when I will post my styled looks.
What makes this set different from the first one is that I used different models, unlike the first set, the only model I used was Matilda. This time, I used Femke, Nike and Eddie.
Another thing is, I used the same background for this set while I used different bg's for the first one :)
Hope you guys find this interesting :)
The focal point of this look is this electric blue shorts. It definitely makes a statement because I kept the look simple because the top is already printed and I only put one simple accessory and kept the wedges in nude color.
Fnubbu cardigan
Topshop shorts
Elie Saab wedges
Pull & Bear shoulder bag
Malene Birger necklace
I love the combination of this elegant printed pants and this sparkly top. I chose some nude wedges to balance the whole look. This mustard Versace clutch goes well with the color of the top. A look is going to be boring without an accessory so I came up with this simple black bow headband that goes well with the model's brown hair
S'nob tank top
Camilla Norrback pants
Acne wedges
Versace clutch
Cheap Monday headband
Among the three looks I styled, this one is the simplest yet most elegant for me. The mood of this look is simply fierce and sophisticated. I love this dress because it has different colors on both sides. White and black. These two colors go well with any other color. So I chose some red heels to maintain the mood of the look. I realized I used both shoulder bags for the first two looks so I used a brown envelope clutch for this one. And lastly, a bracelet of the same color as the dress. It says it all :)
Dr Denim Jeans mini dress
Karen Millen heels
Maharani of Tirapunji clutch
S'nob bracelet
